POOPIE II
Genre: Blooper Reel (Color)
Don’s Review: This is a second, and decidedly second-rate,
blooper special from the show. While the first Poopie
took its outtakes from five whole seasons of the show (Seasons Two
through Six) and had a lot to choose from, this one is only outtakes from
Seasons Seven and Eight and having such a limited selection of bloopers
to choose from really shows, as very few of these are funny. The
best ones, surprisingly, come from the MST
Scrapbook / Poopie
Infomercial, which Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Trace Beaulieu
all seemed to have a fun and funny time making. But, aside from
those handful of outtakes, I really do not think the rest are good
enough to justify this 30-minute long program, so my advise is just to
get Poopie #1 as a part of the Manos DVD and simply forget
about this second tape (although it would still make a nice extra on a
future DVD release... Rhino, are you listening?)
